Jump Pads are your navigation shortcuts inside midiOS. They let you instantly teleport to any bank, scene, key, preset, or Launchpad scene in a single tap — no scrolling, no menus, no interruptions.

They are designed for live performance, where every second counts and your hands need to stay on the music.

Use a Jump Pad when you need to:

Switch to another pad bank instantly
Jump to a specific Ableton scene number
Trigger Next Scene / Last Scene navigation
Reset back to your default performance bank
Change the key of your harmonic layout
Load a preset, like recalling a saved chord layout

Every Jump Pad can be customized to control:

• Target Bank

Choose which bank you’re jumping to when tapped.

• Target Scene

Assign a specific Ableton scene number, “Next Scene”, or “Last Scene”.

• Target Key

Set it to instantly shift the harmonic engine to a selected key.

• Bank Jump Mode

Choose between one-time jump or jump + return on release.

• Color & Label

Give each Jump Pad a unique color, label, or icon to organize your navigation layout.
